In order to harass people on all sides of the political spectrum over contentious subjects like abortion access and gun rights as well as divisive public figures like President Joe Biden and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, accounts were used by Chinese threat actors.

None of the posts were seen by many people. There were a total of 81 Facebook accounts, eight Pages, one Group, and two Instagram profiles.
20 accounts or so had one or more of the pages following. 250 accounts enrolled in at least one of the groups. According to Meta, less than 10 users followed one or more of the Instagram profiles.
According to Meta, they were all banned for breaking its rules against “organized inauthentic activity.”
Another Chinese network that blogged about American politics but mostly catered to consumers in the Philippines and Southeast Asia was taken down by Meta in 2020.
