Oracle users experience problems accessing Cloud Infrastructure

In unprecedented events, Oracle Cloud services worldwide collapsed on Thursday morning. According to initial reports, this incident would have affected a large number of Oracle sites, which were no longer available for at least two hours.

According to Oracle, a DNS infrastructure configuration failure caused multiple query failures, making it impossible to access affected sites: “Users may experience multiple issues when trying to access Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and resources,” the company says.

Users in Australia, South Korea, North Korea, India, Japan, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Chile, Brazil, the United States and the United Kingdom experienced problems with access to services and sites, although the latest reports mention that everything is returning to normal.
