Nowadays phishing attack are going high, by using encrypted pages. Sometimes the users can check the presence of phishing page by checking the availability of HTTP(S) on the website, but cyber criminals are using smarter techniques by using SSL(secure socket layers).
When user see any encrypted web pages, it is assumed that these web pages are secure but behind this, attackers are stealing our data, login credentials and passwords. As per the research done by APWG, there is a increase in phishing attack using SSL. Phishing attacks are increasing more in last three quarters using SSL.
